Papatoetoe Tennis Club is committed to providing a welcoming environment and to foster a life-long love of tennis for its members and the community that includes all ages and ability levels.

Vice President
Ros supports the club as a result of her son Zane taking up the sport and lately her own passion for the game. She brings motivation and experience from working on committees from other local groups.

Interclub Controller
Ament supports his daughter's growth and enjoyment of tennis and picked up a racquet as well. He found himself in the position of accepting the role at the latest AGM and with no experience he has embraced this challenge and is to be commended for the organisation and distribution of information to support our competitive teams is such a short period of time.
Kelly Le'au
Secretary & Social Media
Kelly has the tennis bug and looks to pick up from where she was last season. She is the latest member to be added to the committee and looks to create opportunities for beginning players and junior tennis.

About Us
Papatoetoe Tennis Club is Your Local Community club that is managed with the communities interests at heart. We have an enthusiastic committee that is supported by the best members that are located locally and in the wider area. Our committee has the drive, skills, passion and vision to provide for all your tennis needs.
Papatoetoe Tennis Club was originally established in 1880 and has been a fixture in the community ever since. In 2010 the club became a part of the multisport complex that is today known as Kolmar.

We are very pleased to announce and introduce our members and community to the following coaching team that will lead our club to the next level. They are experienced and all are well known in the closer and wider community.
Todd Breeze
Junior Head Coach
Todd has coaching experience at both Papakura and Karaka tennis club. He was Number 9 in New Zealand for 18/under tennis when younger. He has also played professional tournaments trained and played in Spain, England and Australia. We are happy to have him on board to coach our junior players.
Silema Toutai
Interclub Coach
Silema was born on the Papatoetoe courts and was holding a racket before she could walk. She has years of experience playing interclub tennis and is our #1 Women’s player for the club. She has stepped into the role of Interclub coach for both our Senior Women’s team and our Juniors Interclub teams. She is technical in her coaching with of focus on making minor changes resulting in big wins.
Luna Toutai
Coach
Luna is married to Silema and like her has spent many years of his life on the courts. He was previously a coach at East Tamaki and now has stepped up to help coach our Junior players. He comes with a wealth of knowledge in teaching kids and we are excited to have him coaching our best and brightest juniors.

Coach
Lui's dad. Great player, even better coach. An avid tennis player he is always on the courts playing with anyone that is willing to learn.

Assistant Coach
Lui has been playing tennis since the age of 8 years old. He has competed in multiple Juniors tournament at Scarbro Tennis Centre and has been a regular fixture at the club. He won the Seniors Club Champ 2018 at the age of 15 against his dad. He is also the number player for the Open Men 5 interclub team having a grade of S7 since last year. He is volunteering as Juniors coach in his spare time
Filipe Haupeakui
Coach
Filipe is one of our long-term Senior Members. He has experience coaching both senior and junior club members. You will often see him helping out with coaching when the club needs a heling hand. If you need any help with technique, he is the one to go to.
